The Wearable Data Decision Checklist
Your client brings you a number. Work out what the sensor is actually doing, how much science is behind it, whether it matches the person in front of you — and then make the call: investigate, ignore, or explore. One claim per pass. Free, no sign-in, and nothing you enter into the checklist is stored.
The app is a tool. You're the craftsperson.
Five steps, in the order the checklist prescribes: name the claim, write down what the sensor is actually doing, grade the evidence behind it, test it against what your client says they feel, and then decide. The reading you get back is your own four answers read against the checklist — not a verdict on your client.
This is a coaching decision aid, not a medical or diagnostic instrument. It does not evaluate a device, and nothing in it is medical advice. If a client describes a symptom rather than a metric, that is a referral conversation, not a checklist one.
When to run it
Use this checklist every time a client brings you a wearable claim, metric, or app recommendation.
Nothing you enter into the checklist is saved, sent, or recorded — not the claim, not what you wrote it measures, not how your client says they feel. It lives in this tab and disappears when you close it. The record at the end is built for copying straight into whatever you already write in.
There is no field for your client’s name, on purpose. Nothing here needs it, and a name attached to a sleep or recovery complaint on a public page is a different kind of record than a coaching worksheet.
Run one claim
One claim per pass. Finish it, write the record into your own notes, then start the next one.
This part is different, so it is worth saying plainly: your email address is stored and used to send you the reference and occasional coach tooling from FitFlow. Unsubscribe any time. It is never attached to the claim, the answers or the decision above — those are not sent anywhere, so there is nothing to attach.
