The Coach's Annual Planning Pack
Build your year map while you read — then name one constraint instead of five goals. The five-session annual build, and the review cadence that keeps it alive past March: a look-back audit with the capacity arithmetic laid out, a twelve-month map of your own intake shape, one constraint sentence, four bet cards with kill criteria written in advance, and ten replan triggers decided while nothing has happened.

You do not need a better plan. You need a shorter loop.
Most coaching plans do not die from a lack of ambition. They die because they were built on the wrong axis — a flat twelve-month revenue line over a business whose real shape is intake-driven, capacity-capped, and dependent on the energy of exactly one person. This is the five-session build, held open for the year you actually run it.
The four-altitude stack and the five-session cycle are FitFlow reasoning aids, not validated instruments. No study has tested either one, as a package or in part.
The 5 sessions, in the order they have to run
About 3 hours across two sittings. The sessions are ordered by dependency, not by page number — which is why session 2 is section 03 and session 3 is section 02.
| Session | Pack section | Time | Produces |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1. The look-back audit | 01 | 60–75 min | Four inputs. No decisions. |
| 2. Name one constraint | 03 | 20–30 min | One constraint. One sentence. |
| 3. Map the coaching year | 02 | 30–45 min | A calendar of the shape of your year, drawn before any target |
| 4. Set the quarterly bets | 04 | 45–60 min | Four bets you can defend and kill |
| 5. Install the review calendar and the trigger list | 05 + 06 + 07 | 20 min | A review calendar with dates on it, five defined numbers, a trigger list |
Do session 1 with your actual records open — payment processor, calendar, client list. The whole cycle is downstream of those four numbers, and estimated inputs produce a plan that feels right and isn't. Resist writing a revenue number until session 2 is finished.
This pack covers business strategy, capacity, and operating rhythm. It is not tax, legal, or accounting advice. Section 07 states the referral line. The workspace below covers all eight sections' arithmetic and cadence.
